Appendices for Understanding Learning Style Preferences of Zillennial Junior Doctors in Singapore

Appendix 1: The learning preferences of junior doctors were evaluated using the Grasha-Riechmann Student Learning Style Scales (GRSLSS). Certain wordings were modified to suit the context of this study. For example, the term "learners" was replaced by "junior doctors" in GRSLSS. Each learning style was assessed through ten items, with junior doctors rating their agreement/disagreement on a scale of 1 to 5. Refer to Appendix 1 for the calculation of the average score of each learning style.Appendix 2: Using the formula employed in the original study by Grasha (1994), the percentage of junior doctors who fit into each of the four clusters (see Appendix 3) could be determined.Appendix 3: Teaching methods that are most compatible with each learning style cluster (Grasha, 2002)
