Water column and sediment porewater nutrient concentrations from lagoon, river, and ocean sites along the Alaska Beaufort Sea coast, 2018-ongoing

Several water types (lagoon, river, ocean) and surface sediment porewater from the coastal Beaufort Sea system are sampled seasonally to investigate temporal and spatial shifts in nutrient dynamics. Surface and bottom water samples, and surface sediment samples are collected during full ice cover (April), ice break-up (mid-June to early July), and open water (late July and August) periods, and analyzed for ammonia (2018-2019) or ammonium (2021 on), nitrate + nitrite, orthophosphate, and silicate concentrations.
