[RoSTS](https://github.com/dumitrescustefan/RO-STS) is a high-quality translation of the aforementioned dataset, containing 8628 pairs of sentences with their similarity score.

The dataset was introduced in *Liro: Benchmark and leaderboard for romanian language tasks* ([Dumitrescu et al., 2021](https://datasets-benchmarks-proceedings.neurips.cc/paper_files/paper/2021/file/5f93f983524def3dca464469d2cf9f3e-Paper-round1.pdf)).
This dataset is used as a benchmark and is part of the evaluation protocol for Romanian LLMs proposed in *"Vorbeşti Româneşte?" A Recipe to Train Powerful Romanian LLMs with English Instructions* ([Masala et al., 2024](https://arxiv.org/abs/2406.18266))
