Data for "Receptive multilingualism across the lifespan" (PhD thesis)

These are the datasets and R code with which the analyses in my PhD thesis ("<strong>Receptive multilingualism across the lifespan: Cognitive and linguistic factors in cognate guessing</strong>", submitted at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland) can be reproduced. Feel free to carry out your own analyses on these data, but please cite them or my thesis appropriately when publishing your analyses. Please note that the software used for the analyses (described in my thesis) is in constant development and that later program versions may yield (slightly) different results. Should you spot any errors in my analyses, please let me know! <em>Note: figshare doesn't have the categories "Linguistics" or "Language research", which is why I filed these data and code files under "Education" and "Statistics".</em>
