Ajpacifastin-like involved in the immune response of Apostichopus japonicus challenged by Vibrio splendidus

Ajpacifastin-like was previously found to regulate phenoloxidase system in invertebrates and arthropods. In this study, the global immune response regulated by Ajpacifastin-like in sea cucumber Apostichopus japonicus were further determined. In order to deepen the understanding of roles of AjPacifastin-like played in the immune responses, the invasion of V. splendidus in the A. japonicus that were defective in the Ajpacifastin gene were first determined.
