This dataset comprises RNA sequencing of rat (Rattus norvegicus) bone marrow derived macrophages (BMDMs), both unstimulated and 7 hours after stimulation with lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Samples are derived from 3 male dark agouti rats, of age 8-10 weeks. 100 base pairs paired-end mRNA-seq stranded libraries were generated by Edinburgh Genomics and sequenced at a depth of 50 million reads using an Illumina HiSeq 2000.
