This layer shows the location of the water control structures used and maintained by the Broward County Water Management Division (WMD) . The structures are used to maintain water levels within the canals and lakes of the secondary canal systems of Broward County WCD 2, WCD 3, WCD 4 and Cocomar, as well as a few legacy locations. The features may have plans or schematics attached. The layer was created in the early 2000s and is subject to continuous update by the Water Management staff.
