ISROC Dataset for: Boulder emplacement on a tectonically stable, wave-dominated coastline, Mission Rocks, northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

This document contains standardized data as an Excel and NC file and explanatory notes for "Boulder emplacement on a tectonically stable, wave-dominated coastline, Mission Rocks, northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa." This project surveyed 134 coastal boulder deposits at Mission Rocks in South Africa. Boulders are used to assess the history of high-magnitude wave events in this area. Based on hydrodynamic and historical analysis, the boulders show that disposition by storm ways is more likely.
