Since SARS-CoV-2 has been described to affect the nervous system, this study evaluated the effect of the SARS-CoV-2 infection in midbrain organoids. Results indicate a loss of dopaminergic neurons upon SARS-CoV-2 infection and disruption of the main pathways known to be affected in Parkinson’s disease
