An open dataset for human SSVEPs in the frequency range of 1-60 Hz

This study presents a SSVEP dataset acquired at a wide frequency range from 1 to 60 Hz with an interval of 1 Hz using flickering stimuli under two different modulation depths. This dataset contain 64-channel EEG data and questionnaire results on subjective feelings from 15 healthy subjects when they fixated on a single flickering stimulus. The stimulus is rendered on an LCD display with a refresh rate of 240 Hz. This dataset provides comprehensive and high-quality data for studying and developing SSVEP-BCI systems. The EEG data for each subject were stored in separate MATLAB MAT files. Each file was named as “data_Subject index_Number of channels” (i.e., data_s1_64.mat, data_s2_64.mat, …, data_s15_64.mat). The questionnaire results on user experience completed by all participants were saved in a MATLAB MAT file called “Sub_score”.
