Raw sequence data, transcriptome assembly and annotation of greenlip abalone at different stages of maturation based on the subjective visual gonad index.\nLineage: Tissue from male and female greenlip abalone gonad and ganglia were subject to 150 bp Illumina Novaseq 6000 for de novo transcriptome sequencing. Assembly was completed with Trinity and annotation using DIAMOND against the NCBI non-redundant database. Differential gene expression and network analysis was completed for 35 male and female abalone with visual gonad index 0-3. The CEL-Seq2 custom sequencing protocol was performed on a single lane of a NovaSeq 6000, with a 26 bp read 1, a 95 bp read 2, and a 6bp index read. Differential gene expression analysis was carried out in the R using DESeq2. Cytoscape was used to predict gene network predictions.
