These 16S rRNA amplicon library data were generated from fecal DNA from adult female BALB/c mice that hosted the conventional laboratory mouse gut microbiome (BALB/c LabC, Taconic) or the wild-mouse gut microbiome (BALB/c WildR, Taconic). Mice were subjected to aerosol infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis for six weeks and samples were collected before and during tuberculosis infection.
