Putting Immigration and Education in Conversation Everyday (PIECE): School climate and practices to support immigrant-origin students and families

Given the inequality facing immigrant communities in the United States, our project sought to understand the practices educators use to support immigrant youth in the current context of anti-immigrant policies. Working as a multi-disciplinary research team, we administered an all-staff survey in 6 school districts around the United States as part of our larger study that included district-level case studies and the development of tools and resources to support educators. We have uploaded the survey instrument we used to gather both likert-scale and numeric items and open-ended, qualitative textboxes.
