Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a multifactorial disease influenced by genetic, environmental, and microbial interactions. The role of the cancer microbiome in modulating immune responses and tumor progression remains inadequately explored. This study aims to elucidate the intricate relationships between the in situ microbiome and host immune response in CRC by integrating transcriptomic and microbiomic analyses. Understanding these interactions could provide insights into the mechanisms of CRC progression and identify potential therapeutic targets, particularly for improving immune therapy efficacy.
