LET-381/FoxF and its target UNC-30/Pitx2 specify and maintain the molecular identity of C. elegans mesodermal glia that regulate motor behavior

Differential RNAseq analysis to identify transcripts enriched in the GLR glia of C. elegans GLR glia were isolated from C. elegans L4 larvae, strain OS11715, by FACS, based on expression of a nuclear YFP marker under control of the GLR glia-specific promoter nep-2prom7. All other cells, which are not expressing YFP, were collected separately for control. RNA reads from YFP-positive and YFP-negative samples were compared to identify GLR glia-enriched genes.
