Conclusion: Montmorillonite can rescue colon Elf4 expression of mice treated with Dextran sulfate (DSS). Overall design: Seven-week-old WT male mice were divided into three groups, and treated with 2% DSS (group D), water (group W), 2% DSS plus Montmorillonite powder (DS) respectively for 7 days. At Day 7, the distal colon was taken out and the RNA was extracted by Trizol method, followed by eukaryotic RNA-seq and associated analysis.
