Earthquake catalogue for Taupō volcano, Aotearoa New Zealand between October 2019 and September 2022

This dataset contains an earthquake catalogue resulting from the characterisation of shallow seismicity for the region surrounding Taupō volcano, Aotearoa New Zealand between October 2019 and September 2022. 

It contains the following files:

xml file in QuakeML format containing

automatic P- & S-wave phase arrival-time picks

absolute locations (NonLinLoc)

relative relocations (GrowClust3D)

amplitude measurements (horizontal & vertical)

local magnitudes (horizontal & vertical component)

P-wave first motion polarity picks

csv file of hypocentral absolute locations (NLLoc) with horizontal-component local magnitudes

csv file of hypocentral relative relocations (GC3D) with horizontal-component local magnitudes

csv file of moment tensor results: double-couple (DC) or full moment tensor (MT) result. MRR, MTT, MFF, MRT, MRF, and MTF are orientated as in GMT meca function.
