Green Infrastructure Impact Overview

资源简介:
Why Green Infrastructure? Green Infrastructure (GI) is an economical design approach for managing stormwater runoff as close as possible to the source that protects, restores, or mimics the natural water cycle. The design and installation of GI can help reduce local flooding and improve water quality in area creeks and rivers. Unlike traditional stormwater infrastructure, GI approaches perform natural or nature-mimicking functions that slow, capture, and/or clean stormwater runoff—like nature intended.
