The objective of the current study was to assess the effect of Oxyphenbutazone on improving memory and learning impairments in LPS-induced neurotoxicity. To evaluate the impact of Oxyphenbutazone against LPS-induced neurotoxicity in rats, followed by treatment with Oxyphenbutazone (35 and 70 mg/kg, per oral) an hour before injection of LPS (1 mg/kg i.p.) for 7 days. The findings show that Oxyphenbutazone at both doses significantly improved behavioral activity and restored neurotransmitters, biochemical, and neuroinflammatory.
