Here is the revised text for a Dall's porpoise: On July 17, 2023, a handheld LiDAR device (iPhone running Scaniverse) was used to collect 3D scans of a Dall's Porpoise (Phocoenoides dalli). These scans were conducted during a necropsy. The handheld LiDAR allowed us to capture highly detailed and accurate morphological data of the porpoise before and after the necropsy commenced.
