Flood Adaptation Assessment for Enhanced Community Resilience in Crisfield, MD

This work was performed under a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Climate Program Office Adaptation Sciences (AdSci) Program grant: Advancing Climate Adaptation and Coastal Community Resilience NA21OAR4310287 (FY2021).

The University of Maryland Environmental Finance Center (UMD EFC) partnered with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and George Mason University (GMU) to provide the rural community of Crisfield, Maryland with tools and data that help build awareness and understanding of climate-induced flooding from sea level rise. The flood maps provided here were prepared for community engagement workshops and should not be used for decision-making in their present form.
