Scripts - Warming, Rainfall Extremes, and Land Use Dynamics in Northern and Northwestern Paraná, Brazil

This collection of R scripts was developed to perform the complete statistical analysis presented in the manuscript, "Warming, Rainfall Extremes, and Land Use Dynamics in Northern and Northwestern Paraná, Brazil". The scripts are designed to process the provided climatological and Land Use/Land Cover (LULC) time series data. Key functionalities include: The application of the non-parametric Mann-Kendall (MK) test for trend detection in climate and LULC data. The use of the Sen's Slope test to estimate the magnitude of identified trends. The execution of homogeneity tests (Pettitt, SNHT, and Buishand) to detect change-points in the time series. The generation of all time series plots and trend visualizations presented as figures in the manuscript.
