Marine litter and epibionts dataset generated in the "Ocean Travelers" project, coordinated by the Científicos de la Basura citizen science program

Data set generated by means of citizen science in the worldwide project "Ocean Travelers", coordinated in 2022 by the Científicos de la Basura citizen science program, in collaboration with the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC), the MarineGEO Program, and the MINKE Project.

The data set contains information about the marine litter items collected on beaches around the world, as well as about the marine organisms attached to them (epibionts).
