资源简介:
The main cause of TTH is the formation of MTrPs, which results in myofascial dysfunction and muscular pain in the forehead, cervical region, and shoulders. There is evidence that MTrPs have widespread pain-to-pressure sensitivity, indicating that they might play an essential role in the process of TTH sensitization. Palpable nodules and tenderness in temporalis muscles is commonly seen in patients with TTH which can be managed by MTrP release. Release of trigger points and MFR allows for the reduction of fascial limitations by reducing the fascial limitation by reducing the actin-myosin overlap by lengthening the muscle. Patients with TTH frequently complains of pain and difficulty performing daily activities. Myofascial trigger point release found to be efficient at relieving pain and improving QOL in patients suffering from TTH. Thus, the study's purpose was to implement and assess the effect of MTrP release over temporo-parietal fascia in managing individuals with TTH.
