Why anything rather than nothing? The answer of quantum mechanics

The state of nothing is not stable. The physical nothing is not a general vacuum. The being is less than nothing. The creation is taking away from the nothing. Time is the destruction of symmetry. The creation need not any (external) cause.The state of nothing passes spontaneously (by itself) in the state of being: this repersents the "creation". The transition of nothing into being is mathematically necessary. The choice (which can be interperted philosophiocally as "free will") appears necessarily according to mathematical reasons. The choice generates asymmetry, which is the beginning of time and thus, of the physical world. Information is the quantity of choices and linked to time intimately.
