The file contains the raw dataset exported from the online questionnaire used in the study, including participants’ informed consent, sociodemographic and professional characteristics (such as gender, Brazilian state, age range, years since graduation, type of undergraduate and postgraduate education, and workplace), as well as their item-by-item responses to all questions on causes and diagnosis of tooth discoloration, indications and invasiveness of non- and microinvasive treatment options (bleaching, resin infiltration, microabrasion, veneers), and attitudes toward explaining and recommending these conservative approaches to patients, which were later coded and analyzed for the article’s statistical results.
