Modulators of epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) have recently emerged as novel players in the field of leukemia biology. The mechanisms by which EMT modulators contribute to leukemia pathogenesis, however, remain to be elucidated. Here we investigate the role SNAI1 - a key modulator of EMT – and its effect on chromatin state using ATAC-seq in hematopoietic cells (HPC7). A murine hematopoietic progenitor cell line, HPC7, were transduced with a retroviral vector encoding FLAG-tagged SNAI1. Cells were harvested to generate ATAC-seq libraries for Next-Generation Sequencing.
