Dataset and R code for the validation of the QPE4PLimpact questionnaire

This repository contains the dataset and R analysis code associated with the study “What Do Students Really Gain from Physical Education? The QPE4PLimpact as a Situational Measure of Physical Literacy in High School”. The QPE4PLimpact questionnaire was developed to assess the immediate, situational impact of physical education (PE) lessons on high school students’ physical literacy across four dimensions: physical, affective, cognitive, and social. The dataset includes anonymized responses collected from high school students following PE lessons, using a 5-point Likert scale. The accompanying R script provides the full workflow used for data preprocessing and statistical analyses, including polychoric correlation matrices, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and second-order modeling. This repository is intended to ensure transparency and reproducibility of the analyses presented in the article. All files are organized to allow researchers to replicate the main results and further explore the dataset.
