Metallicity Profile of A2244 comma the Brightest Cluster Unobserved with XMM-Newton
收藏资源简介:
The metal abundance profiles in the outskirts of individual galaxy clusters arecurrently mostly unconstrained by observations. These profiles will depend onthe primary enrichment process through cluster galaxies, e.g., ram pressurestripping or galactic super winds. So, measurements can, in principle, constrainwhat the dominant process is. This is the goal of this proposal. We propose ashort supporting XMMNewton observation of A2244, the brightest cluster in thesky that has not been observed with XMMNewton until now, to constrain the metalabundance profile out to 0.6 R_180 with a sensational total absolute uncertaintyof Delta Z(0.6 R_180)virgul0.06 solar using our 70 ks Suzaku observation. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
