NOAA GFS - dynamical.org Icechunk Zarr

The Global Forecast System (GFS) is a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) weather forecast model that generates data for dozens of atmospheric and land-soil variables, including temperatures, winds, precipitation, soil moisture, and atmospheric ozone concentration. The system couples four separate models (atmosphere, ocean model, land/soil model, and sea ice) that work together to depict weather conditions.These datasets have been translated to cloud-optimized Icechunk Zarr format by dynamical.org.全球预报系统（Global Forecast System，简称GFS）是美国国家海洋和大气管理局（National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration，简称NOAA）下属环境预报国家中心（National Centers for Environmental Prediction，简称NCEP）研发的气象预报模型，可生成数十种大气与陆面土壤变量数据，涵盖气温、风速、降水、土壤湿度以及大气臭氧浓度等要素。该系统耦合了四个独立模型，即大气模型、海洋模型、陆面/土壤模型与海冰模型，各模型协同运作以精准刻画气象状况。这些数据集已由dynamical.org转换为云优化Icechunk Zarr格式。
