资源简介:
Full mycoheterotrophic plants have independently evolved at least 47 times in land plants. Gastrodia elata (Orchidaceae), or Tianma, is one of most widespread mycoheterotrophic plant in subtropical Asia and has extremely heterotrophic lifestyle. G. elata fully depends on fungus Armillaria mellea to get carbohydrates for the growth of plants after germination. It has an extremely unique which is highly reduced plant forms, such as leafless and rootless habit, and stays most time of life underground in association with fungi. To investigate the molecular bases of full mycoheterotrophic plants unique lifecycle, we sequenced the genome of G. elata.
