RV Investigator Voyage IN2014_E03 EM710 Multibeam Echosounder Data

This record describes multibeam echosounder data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2014_E03 which departed Hobart on the 11 Nov 2014 and returned to Hobart on 17 Nov 2014. The Kongsberg EM710 multibeam echosounder was used to acquire seafloor bathymetry and backscatter information from the East Coast of Tasmania.
Ping rate varied according to depth. Data are stored in *.all raw format at CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere. There are 115 files totalling 9.47 GB of raw data in this dataset. There are 20 files of Water column data for parts of this survey (7.76 GB), 34 sound velocity profiles were applied to this data during data acquisition. Tide corrections were not applied to the processed data. Processed data are available in XYZ and GSF format.
