Data used to examine the effect of water level on sap flux of canopy species in black ash wetlands. Data set includes probe-level sap flux for black ash, red maple, and yellow birch canopy trees, vapor pressure deficit calculated from nearby Remote Automated Weather Station sites, daily mean wetland water levels from 5cm monitoring wells, and tree elevations relative to the soil surface at the monitoring well.
