Road pavement and white road marking BRDF raw data

Ifsttar's road surface gonioreflectometer was implemented during the E-MOTIVE project to measure the BRDF (bidirectional reflectance, or luminance coefficient) on 2 road surface samples: a bituminous road pavement sample and a white retroreflective road marking sample. The angle system recommended in publication CIE 066-1984 is used, with alpha for the reflection angle from the surface plane, beta for the angle between lighting and reflection planes and gamma for the lighting angle from the surface normal. All angles are expressed in degrees. Luminance coefficient values are expressed in candela per square meter per lux [cd/m²/lx]. The resulting raw BRDF data for each sample is stored in a text file. The first line is a header which specifies the content of the columns. Each following line provides the luminance coefficient value for a particular angle configuration. The columns are separated by tabulations. The first column contains the value of alpha; the second column contains the value of beta; the third column contains the value of gamma; the fourth column contains the value of the luminance coefficient measured at the previously given angles.
