Cars sold to rental companies in the Netherlands 2012-2022, by type

The number of motor vehicles sold to rental companies in the Netherlands decreased slightly in 2022. The number of new cars and vans incorporated into the fleets of Dutch rental companies peaked in 2018 and 2019, when it amounted to over 30,100 motor vehicles. The absolute majority of sales to rental companies were passenger cars.
