The Synthetic Cellular Microstructures Dataset developed in this study comprises 1,000 diverse initial bone-like microstructures, which were computationally generated via the HetMiGen program. This dataset is stored as either 3D matrices or 3D voxelized images, documenting the degradation process of artificially produced bone microstructures under microgravity conditions over a time span of up to 36 months. Each data sample is stored in a MATLAB .mat file, where the fourth dimension represents time. This dataset is primarily utilized for training the TransVNet model to predict and visualize bone degradation, and is specifically tailored for space exploration and experimental tasks, aiming to address the issue of bone mineral density loss under long-term microgravity environments.
