Hemodynamic research is an essential component of the biomedical field, enabling scientists to gain in-depth insights into the motion patterns within living organisms and advance the understanding of cardiovascular system functions and disease mechanisms. By analyzing the flow characteristics of blood in blood vessels and their interactions with the vascular endothelium, researchers can identify factors affecting blood flow such as blood pressure, vessel diameter, and blood viscosity, which is critical for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases including hypertension, heart failure, and intracranial aneurysms. Among these, intracranial aneurysms are a type of cerebral vascular malformation that are typically asymptomatic, but once ruptured, they can cause severe subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Although clinical practice is usually based on the individual factors and morphological characteristics of aneurysms, their pathophysiological and hemodynamic mechanisms remain a subject of controversy.
