Panicum sumatrense Transcriptome or Gene expression

Little millet (Panicum sumatrense) belongs to family Poaceae and is a nutritionally rich millet (dietary fibre, minerals, vitamins and nutraceutical compounds) crop mainly cultivated in India. Keeping in view its importance, genomic resources are needed to develop for the improvement and utilization of this crop. De novo transcriptome data was generated based on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Technology to generate genomic resources (genes and EST-SSR markers), which may be used to facilitate future genetic and genomic studies in little millet.
