Comparison of mucosal microbiota across gastrointestinal tract in healthy dogs

Given the lack of published literature profiling the mucosal microbiota in healthy dogs, the primary objective of this study was to comprehensively characterize the microbial composition and predict the functional capacity of mucosal bacteria across multiple GI segments, including the stomach, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, and colon in dogs.
