FACTS - National Survey

Gallup conducted the FACTS (Firearm Safety Among Children and Teens) survey with the University of Michigan to learn more about the health behaviors and attitudes of U.S. families and teens, including substance use, driving, fighting, guns, as well as parent-teen communication about these issues. <br><br>The survey was administered by Gallup from June 24, 2020 to July 22, 2020 to a national sample of adults/guardians of adolescents 14-18 years of age and older. <br><br>The first part of the survey was answered by the parent or guardian. After parents/guardians completed the survey, they were asked to provide parental consent for their child to take the second part survey. If they opted to provide permission, their child was asked to answer the rest of the questions in the survey.
