资源简介:
Journal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth Supporting data for The effect of grain boundaries on plastic deformation of olivine Filippe Ferreira1, Lars Hansen2*, and Katharina Marquardt1+, 1 Bayerisches Geoinstitut, Universität Bayreuth, Bayreuth, Germany 2 Department of Earth Sciences, University of Oxford, Oxford, UK Corresponding author: Katharina Marquardt (k.marquardt@imperial.ac.uk) *Now at School of Earth and Environmental Sciences. University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA. +Now at Faculty of Engineering, Department of Materials. Imperial College of London, London, UK The data supporting the paper is divided in 4 folders: 1) Crystal Shapes, 2)EBSD files, 3)GB segments and 4) TEM images: Crystal Shapes This folder contains the files used to reconstruct the crystal shapes(file extension: .mor). The files were created using the WinXMorph software (Kaminsky 2005). The folder and files are named according to their respective strain interval (low, moderate, high). EBSD files This folder contains the EBSD files (file extension: .ang). The files were created using the software EDAX OIM v.8. The folder and files are named according to their respective strain interval (low, moderate, high) and the surface at which the data were acquired (XY,XZ,YZ, see Figure 1 of Ferreira et al., 2021). Here we present the cleaned data only as the raw data would be too large. The raw data, including EBSD patterns, may be obtained by contacting the corresponding author. GB segments This folder contains the grain-boundary segments files (file extension: .txt). The files were created using the software EDAX OIM v.8. The folder and files are named according to their respective strain interval (low, moderate, high) and the surface at which the data were acquired (XY,XZ,YZ, see Figure 1 of Ferreira et al., 2021). TEM images This folder contains the raw TEM images presented in figure S.4 (file extension: .dm3). The files were created using the software Gatan Digital Micrograph. The files are named according to the order they appear in figure S.4 (i.e. S4a-f). References Kaminsky, W., 2005.
