Transcriptomic analysis of Human gastric cancer

Gastric cancer is the fifth common malignancy and the third leading cause of cancer-associated mortality worldwide. Therapeutic options for the treatment of GC remains inadequate, therefore understanding the underlying molecular mechanisms of the gastric carcinogenesis and identify sensitive biomarkers could be helpful for the prevention and treatment of the disease. Currently, the high-throughput sequencing techniques, in particular the RNA-seq method represents an advanced approach to evaluate the transcriptional changes between tumor and healthy samples. We performed an AmpliSeq Transcriptome analysis (RNA-seq) of 24 gastric tumors (and their matched normal tissues), according to the Lauren classification using the Ion S5 Sequencer with Torrent Suite Software v10.
胃癌是全球第五常见的恶性肿瘤,同时也是导致癌症相关死亡的主要原因之一。针对胃癌的治疗手段仍然不足,因此,解析胃癌发生发展的分子机制,并识别出敏感的生物标志物,对于疾病的预防和治疗具有重大意义。目前,高通量测序技术,尤其是RNA测序方法,已成为评估肿瘤与正常样本间转录变化的高级手段。本研究根据Lauren分类,利用Ion S5测序仪和Torrent Suite Software v10软件,对24例胃癌肿瘤(及其配对的正常组织)进行了AmpliSeq转录组分析(RNA测序)。
