Tetragonisca angustula Genome sequencing and assembly

The goal of this project is to perform complete sequencing of the genome of the stingless bee Tetragonisca angustula, commonly known as the "jatai" bee, which is a native species of Brazil. The complete genome will provide valuable insights into the biology and evolution of this species and serve as a critical tool for its conservation and genetic improvement. To achieve this, the project will involve collecting DNA samples, performing high-quality sequencing, and assembling and analyzing the genome.
