Null Δχ² sample from 38,920 ΛCDM mock catalogs generated using the full Pantheon+ Type Ia supernova statistical-plus-systematic covariance matrix (Scolnic et al. 2022; Brout et al. 2022). Each mock was fit with both a ΛCDM baseline and an extended model containing four additional parameters, two of which are free location parameters with an ordering constraint. The array contains the Δχ² improvement for each mock under the null hypothesis (no injected signal). This dataset accompanies Yates (2026), 'Empirical null calibration for parametric model comparison with free location parameters.'
