"The Ideology and Sociology of Language Change in the Arab World, 2015" studied the connection between changing writing practices and language ideology in the Arab world. The project aimed to map out the use of and attitudes towards the Arabic language. The data includes two surveys about social and political attitudes and practices carried out in two Arab countries.
