From two desert oases, we tracked crayfish DNA signatures, microbial DNA associated with crayfish, and biodiversity of plant, fungal, animal, and bacterial communities over years. One of the oases had red swamp crayfish that were removed using cypermethrin after the first sampling round. The other oasis was never invaded by crayfish.
