The effect on salinity stress on gene expression in three different grapevine rootstocks, Paulsen 1103, Richter 110, and Selektion Oppenheim 4 was investigated. The plants were grown in pots in control conditions and subjected to salinity treatment by irrigation with saline water. Whole leaves and roots were collected from one-year-old vines by flash freezing in liquid nitrogen. Extracted mRNA was sequenced by Illumina HiSeq 4000.
