Reproducibility Kit: Residual-First Benchmarking of NV-Center ODMR Models

This repository contains the complete reproducibility kit for the manuscript“Residual-First Benchmarking of NV-Center ODMR Models Using Public Data.” The kit includes deterministic scripts, derived resonance-center tables, and automaticallygenerated figures and summary metrics used to produce Figures 1–2 and Table 1 of the manuscript. All analyses are performed on publicly available ODMR frequency-sweep data released underCC BY 4.0 and hosted on Zenodo (primary dataset DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.14697917). No proprietaryor unpublished experimental data are included. The benchmark compares a conventional baseline spin-Hamiltonian model to a strictly reducedcomparison family (PRM-1) under identical preprocessing, extraction rules, and fitting protocols.Interpretation is explicitly residual-first, with residual structure prioritized over aggregatefit magnitude. Running the provided scripts reproduces all figures and quantitative summaries reported inthe manuscript without manual intervention.
