MAP (Measuring Access and Performance) studies are a tool for monitoring of product availability and accessibility, using pre-defined criteria for coverage, quality of coverage and access. The objectives of the 2008 study were to 1) determine the coverage and quality of coverage of PSI;s birth spacing products, 2) estimate PSI's birth spacing product market penetration, and 3) measure the coverage of non-PSI's birth spacing products. The study was designed to make comparisons possible between three supervision areas: Phnom Penh, other urban areas, and rural areas. The current report presents the findings for OK hormonal contraceptives and condoms for birth spacing purposes as it is thought as dual method.
