Timeseries from Ocean Weather Station M (OWSM) 2025

Time series of inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), and hydrography from the fixed station Ocean Weather Station M (OWSM) in the Norwegian Sea at 66 degree N 2 degree E. Measurements are collected over the full water depth of 0-2000 m. This dataset consist of four - 4 - cruises from 2025 and represent a continuation of the carbon timeseries started in 2001. Monthly sampling frequency between 2001 and 2009 and seasonal resolution from 2010 and onwards. Data from 2001 to 2009 were collected by the weathership Polarfront, and from 2010 and onwards, various research vessels collected samples from OWSM. DIC and TA data are from discrete bottle samples while hydrography are measured using sensors. The timeseries at OWSM started in 1948 with daily hydrography masurements over the full water depth. Empty cells are marked with "-999".
